Wellness and Lifestyle
As an Acupuncturist and Herbalist, my wellness and lifestyle articles integrate health perspectives from both Eastern and Western cultures. Particularly, I focus on the 5 Elements from East Asian Medicine. In my 5-part series of articles, I delve into the meaning of each element. Each one has correspondences, such as, season, organ, emotion, meridian, herbs and acupuncture points. This philosophy designs a cycle from which to attune the body for health and longevity. For example, the Fire Element corresponds with summer, heart and small intestine meridians and joy. Also, in my store I offer Guided Healing Meditations for each element described in each article below. Overall, I have articles and meditations on the Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water Elements. Plus, below there are other insights on holistic wellness for your lifestyle.
