    Immunity / Medications / Supplements

This is where you really need to plan ahead.  If going to a third world country or places where there is malaria, yellow fever or typhoid, then I recommend going to a travel medicine clinic for the best planning strategy.  Also, they can prescribe antibiotics to keep on hand for unexpected infections.  Tetanus shots are imperative for travel, whether you step on a nail or get bitten by a dog.

When travelling, there are important considerations in choosing for travel.  Your skin is your largest organ and warrants good protection.  Outdoor recreational stores, such as REI or North Face have wonderful selections of SPF clothing and hats. It’s also important to have clothing that wicks moisture, regulates temperature and doesn’t wrinkle easily, such as, bamboo and merino wool.  And shoes are something to plan ahead for with proper orthotics and support for a lot of walking.  Furthermore, wear shoes for some time before going on a trip so they are broken in and ready to go.

It’s well-known for being one of the most beautiful drives in the world with many scenic stops along the way. Its breathtaking castles, geological wonders and magical coastlines offer the ultimate road trip. Because my day here was so incredible, I love sharing my tips about the Ireland Causeway Coastal Tour to Giant’s Causeway, Dunluce Castle and Dark Hedges. Causeway Coastal Route goes along the northern coast of Northern Ireland 193 km (120 m) between Belfast & Londonderry. My one-day tour from Belfast included the iconic sites, such as, Giant’s Causeway, Dunluce Castle and Dark Hedges. Other incredible stops on the route are Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Carrickfergus Castle, Gobbins Cliff Path, Ballintoy Harbour, Glenarm Castle and Torr Head.
