Tent camping is one of the best ways to immerse yourself in nature 24/7.  What a better way to recalibrate your body, mind and spirit and heal stress.  Staying in a tent at a campsite can be the sweet spot for nature with some basic amenities.  My tent camping experiences are mostly in Washington and Oregon states in the spring or summer.  I learned from pros that have been camping for years and love sharing tips.  So, read on and plan or shop from this tent camping checklist guide tips that I gleaned from experienced, outdoorsy friends.

Being from REI’s headquarters in Seattle, I have been a member for years.  As an REI member, I benefit with the excellent quality and return policy.  Members have up to a year to return purchases.  Plus, I really respect the ethical and sustainable practices of this company and want to support it.  So, all the links here for camping gear is from REI.  Also, when you purchase REI online, they will ship for free to the REI nearest you, where you can pick up.
