About Argentina

Argentina lies in southern South America with Buenos Aires as its capital and largest city. Argentina is one of the most biodiverse countries in the world with one of the greatest ecosystem varieties. There are 35 national parks in Argentina. The Patagonia is a region in the southern end of Argentina and Chile. It’s the southern section of the Andes Mountains with fjords, glaciers, lakes, temperate rainforests, steppes and tablelands. The currency is the Argentine Peso. Argentina has a lot of climate diversity, with the polar in the south and subtropical in the north. However, most of the populated areas are mostly temperate. Below are Argentina Travel Guides from my travels.

Top places to see in Argentina include the Iguazu Falls, one of the seven wonders of the world. In the Patagonia is the Nahuel Huapi National Park, a wonderful park for hiking and nature-lovers. Bariloche’s myrtle forest is a popular stop at this park. Southern Fuegian Railway in Tierra del Fuego takes you to the southernmost tip of Argentina.  Punta Tombo National Reserve has the largest colony of Magellanic penguins in the world. At the Valdez Peninsula the Southern Right Whale sightings with calves are a possibility June – December. Other must-see landmarks are Perito Moreno Glacier in Los Glaciares National Park and Quebrada de Humahuaca, a gorge that’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
